CareCert

Frequently asked questions

Last updated 23 August 2026

Who is CareCert for?

Small Australian disability providers (roughly 1–50 staff) who don't have a dedicated compliance team, going through NDIS registration or already registered.

Does CareCert lodge anything with the NDIS Commission for me?

No. CareCert drafts Commission notifications and audit packs for you to review — a human on your team always submits them. CareCert never automates against Commission portals.

Where do standard numbers, deadlines, and pathway decisions come from?

From a deterministic rules engine, not from the AI. The copilot drafts prose around values the rules engine returns; it never invents a regulatory number.

What happens if a regulatory answer can't be confirmed?

CareCert says it can't confirm and flags the question for follow-up, rather than guessing. Every regulatory answer that is shown carries a citation.

Does CareCert store participant information?

No. Participants are referenced by provider-side codes only — no names, NDIS numbers, health details, or care records are stored. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

What happens if the AI provider is down?

Registers, deadlines, rules lookups, and exports keep working — they don't depend on the AI. The copilot chat degrades to retrieval-only rather than the app going dark.

How much does CareCert cost?

Plans and pricing are shown after you create an account — see the pricing details on the billing page once signed up.
